It was a hectic week for the wrestling community seeing as All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing dominated the majority of the headlines. That doesn't take anything away from the other shows however - this week's episode of Impact Wrestling was actually a decent one. Obviously not AEW levels of awesomeness, but it was enjoyable for the most part.

The main event tag team match featuring Michael Elgin, Johnny Impact, Rich Swann, and Willie Mack was a fantastic encounter that ended with Elgin walking out on Impact following some miscommunication. There wasn't really a single bad moment of that match, and it looks as if we could be in for a rivalry between Michael and Johnny going forward.

Elsewhere, we received an update from the currently injured Brian Cage, where he revealed that he'll be defending his World Championship against Michael Elgin at Slammiversary come 7 July, regardless of whether or not he's medically cleared. In addition, Rosemary's apparent new path led her back to Father James Mitchell-related shenanigans, Glenn Gilbertti got some comeuppance at the hands of Tessa Blanchard, and the ex-ECW contingent were once again positioned as the top stars of the company.

This wasn't the perfect episode because no episode ever is. However, it was a mostly satisfying show, and that's all we can ask for really. Let's get to it...
