3. Comeuppance For Gilbertti
Well, who saw this coming? A segment involving Glenn Gilbertti getting an up – although to be fair, it’s only on this side of the spectrum due to Tessa Blanchard’s performance in the pair’s intergender bout.
There was a long-winded promo pre-match from Gilbertti, where he told Tessa that he would become her daddy. Thankfully, the former Knockouts Champion wasn’t in the mood on this night as she took the fight right to him. The actual match itself lasted about a minute, eventually coming to an end after Blanchard struck Gilbertti with a stiff forearm to the jaw. Just like that, Glenn was sent packing back to the locker room.
We didn’t need to sit through a long match for this part of the story to be effective and since Tessa was on her last nerve with Glenn, we didn’t. Hopefully, this is the end of this Glenn Gilbertti vs. the Knockouts division rivalry because no-one’s enjoying it. The only time the fans have cheered during it has been when Glenn got some comeuppance. End it now before it drags on any more.
