The freshness of the Vegas open air matched the feeling of seeing former 1980s megastars Hulk Hogan, Brutus Beefcake and Ted Dibiase dropping into the midcard by 1993, even if 'The Hulkster's true motivations wouldn't be made apparent until later in the show.
Hogan's last 'Show Of Shows' matches for a decade were both controversial in their own right, but at least this Tag Team Title clash remained within the confines of kayfabe before he well and truly sh*t all over Bret Hart in the main event.
A spirited effort ended when the Mega Maniacs Hogan/Beefcake supergroup got disqualified in a match that fell apart in favour of Champions Dibiase and IRS. A long post-match posing sequence looked like the last bow Hogan would take on the night. If we only knew what Bret Hart did...
