Another week, another great Wardlow squash and yet more superb development of the impending implosion between him and ruthless paymaster MJF.

A backstage interview added another wrinkle to the increasingly strained relationship between man and his monster. No longer content to just pay Wardlow to watch his back, Friedman issued a contract/ultimatum that involved the 'War Dog' winning the TNT Championship just to relinquish it to him immediately.

That classic slice of WWE storytelling came with another reminder of the "Bidding War Of 2024", but the Daily's Place audience quickly forgot about the master when the apprentice got back out there and destroyed poor Colin Delaney with his symphony of powerbombs.

Wardlow gets more over by the week, and it's been incredible to see the company fold all this in to MJF's monster programme with CM Punk. 2021's been another stellar annum for the 25-year-old - The 'Salt Of The Earth' can boast involvement in the company's two hottest angles heading into the new year.
