6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 20)
Welcome home, Paige.
One night removed from one of their best pay-per-views of the year, WWE gave us an effective follow up show that wasn't entirely consistent in its execution, but delivered several big developments as it enters a new programming arc.
To start with the obvious, Paige is back, and she has brought two new friends with her. NXT's Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville joined the former Divas Champion in laying out Mickie James, Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss last night, providing both Raw's biggest talking point and a jolt of adrenaline to a stagnating division.
Raw also featured another notable powershift, with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H opening proceedings in a segment worryingly similar to those that once characterised The Authority's miserable rule, furthering their heat with Kurt Angle, Jason Jordan, and Braun Strowman. Elsewhere, Roman Reigns challenged for The Miz's Intercontinental Championship, his stablemates' battles with The Bar continued, and the turf war between 205 Live's heels and faces came back into focus.
A textbook post-PPV reshuffling show, Raw's biggest takeaways will keep us talking all week, but the three hours were as erratic as ever. Let's up the downs...
