4. Overconfidence?

When The North issued an open challenge two weeks ago, they were surprised to see Marufuji answer the call in a singles match, seeing as the challenge was made for a tag team encounter. As a result of that, the reigning World Tag Team Champions have made an offer to the Japanese sensation - if he can find a partner for next week, then he can have an opportunity at the titles (Marufuji has since enlisted the help of Eddie Edwards).

Ethan Page and Josh Alexander are perhaps being slightly overconfident here, but it's the sort of thing we've come to expect from the pairing. They both stated that either one of them could easily go off on their own and lift the World or X Division Championship if they so desired, but they instead want to prove why they're the best tandem in wrestling today.
