Barbarian's squash victory over Tito Santana was designed to sell the successful split of the Powers Of Pain between managers Bobby Heenan and Slick, but 'The Brain' was made to look as if he'd not really used his head by the time this clunker had concluded.

Santana tried and failed twice to use his put-over powers to make the best of the split with a similar loss to Warlord at SummerSlam in August, but it was too little too late for the former babyfaces.

Megastars just two years earlier, the pair were buried deep by their losses to Demolition and it only would have gotten worse if they'd stuck around long enough to suffer the same fate at the hands of Hawk and Animal.
