6 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT (Jun 18)
6. Emporium
There were definitely question marks over the decision to catapult Breezango into the Tag Team Championship picture but in the few short weeks, they've been involved the level of entertainment they've brought to the show has more than justified the decision.
The same could be said about the decision to kick off the Riddle/Thatcher feud by transitioning the belts to Aicher and Barthel. After a solid effort post-Wrestlemania to create something resembling a tag division, they weren't high on anybody's lists of next belt holders. Again though, it's a call that's looks smarter with each passing week.
Finally, as a combination, this match raised eyebrows of its own. Two teams with no history, no momentum, and no real desire to see them work each other, this could very easily have been a non-event but, probably unsurprisingly, it was a riot from start to finish. The late addition of the Biven Boys, Lorcan, and Burch probably tells you there's multi-man madness in our near future, but in the here and now this more than delivered.
