Sunday night at Survivor Series, it looked like writers finally remembered that The Revival are a pretty good tag team capable of wrestling and winning over fans with that quality tag team wrestling.
Monday night, they saw luchadores with pinatas and got distracted.
Lucha House Party is a fun novelty act with three luchadores who can wrestle quite well, and it’s great they’re getting a chance to compete on the main roster. But the Survivor Series tag match Sunday night showed us that there are limited tag teams outside the champs, New Day and The Usos who are serious duos.
So for The Revival to job in a comedy match where the faces outnumber the heels 3-to-2 because it’s “lucha rules,” and pinatas are tossed around is just… uggh. **Insert facepalm emoji here**
Let’s just say it’s really shortsighted.
