6. Using Goldust More Effectively

Why yes, this is an “up” for jobbing Goldust to Bray Wyatt.

Simply put, Goldust feuding endlessly with R-Truth was a ridiculous storyline, and not using him in a televised role was a waste. You have a veteran name talent on your roster, use him. And by having him go against Bray, it allowed Wyatt to draw the parallel that both Goldust and Finn Balor wear facepaint. And while that sent him on a short, bizarre rant, at least there was a symbiosis there.

It was a nice touch after the match to have Bray wipe the paint off Goldy’s face and declare that “He’s just a man!” It would be cool if they followed that up in some fashion, but don’t hold your breath.
