The announcers nailed it during the women’s Elimination Chamber: Absolution blew their opportunity to function successfully in the match.

Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose had a five-minute 2-on-1 segment with Bayley, and while they dominated much of that time, they didn’t take full advantage, hitting moves but delaying at times and not going for enough pinfalls. The goal should have been to quickly dispose of Bayley so they could rest and attack the next entrant in another 2-on-1.

Instead, they methodically attacked Bayley until Sasha Banks entered, evening things up, and ultimately leading to the Boss tapping out Mandy Rose to leave Deville at a disadvantage.

In the end, Absolution recorded zero eliminations despite having the first 2-on-1 advantage, and they were the first two women eliminated from the match. That’s a pretty poor record.
