3. No Beating Around The Bush
The moment Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman won the Raw Tag Team Championships, it was only a matter of time before Seth’s Universal Championship took center stage.
Thankfully, after only a couple longing stares from Braun, Rollins asked him point blank about the singles title. And Strowman straight-up challenged Rollins for his Universal Championship. And Rollins accepted.
Rather than go through weeks of wacky tag partners trying to make it work while avoiding talking about the big title between them, we got the challenge out of the way weeks ahead of the PPV, so now, the focus can be on the matches before us and not some false drama.
Of course, things can break down before Clash of Champions, but at least we know what we’re getting already.
