2. Wyatt Stands Tall
One of the benefits of the brand extension and ensuing draft/lottery/Superstar Shakeup is the opportunity for a wrestler to move to a new program and sort of “reset” his or her standing. A superstar might have been on the lower rungs on one show and become a bigger cog on the new program.
Bray Wyatt might have been the WWE World Champion at one point on SmackDown, but after losing to Randy Orton at WrestleMania, he had really run his course over there. On Raw, he finished up his disappointing feud with Orton in an embarrassing House of Horrors match, and now looks to be turning a corner of sorts.
Wyatt battled Seth Rollins to a DQ finish when Samoa Joe interfered to attack Rollins. At first, the two teamed up, but Wyatt quickly dropped both Joe and Rollins with Sister Abigail, closing Raw in the center of the ring. Sure, he might not emerge as #1 contender, but it was nice to see him in a main storyline and looking strong.
