Another week, another conspiracy theory from Roman Reigns.

You only wish that was a joke. But that’s how Raw opened Monday night. Thankfully, the show got better as it moved away from the excuse machine and dropped a Seth Rollins/Kevin Owens match on us.

But it wasn’t all outstanding in-ring action. We got three Money in the Bank qualifying matches – all of which were triple threat bouts. None of them were bad, but none set the world on fire either. We did get a major newsflash however, with Nia Jax identifying her next challenger. It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out and whether WWE is rushing things to cash in or if they have a real plan with how to do this.

Beyond that, Raw was mundane at best. There were a couple nice moments, and some others that left you scratching your head. It was an episode where you could have turned it off after an hour and seen the best and worst of the show and still gotten a good night’s sleep.

The momentum WWE had coming out of WrestleMania is long gone now, but we’ll see if the MITB build can reignite things. Monday was not encouraging, however.
