While the Raw tag division is currently lacking, you’ve got to tip your cap to the writers for paying attention to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship recently.
Whereas the women’s tag titles disappeared for a good long
period of time last year, they have been front and center the last several
weeks. And the only true, dedicated women’s tag team has been constantly scratching
and clawing for a tag title shot has been the IIconics. They’ve had a couple shots
at the tag titles and managed to pick up a win Monday night, then demand another
shot against champs Sasha Banks & Bayley for next week.
Regardless of what you think about the skills and entertainment value of Peyton Royce & Billie Kay, at least they are focused on an objective that is related to wrestling.
