2. Revival Climbs The Mountain

It took way too long, but The Revival finally reached the top of the mountain Monday night, winning the Raw Tag Team Championships.

It looked like their match against champs Bobby Roode & Chad Gable was going to be pedestrian at best, but the four men turned in a hell of a performance, ramping things up with a series of near-falls and double-team moves that drew fans in and resulted in them even giving a deserved “This is awesome” chant.

Giving Revival a tag title run is a huge boost, provided we now also get some decent competition and some honest-to-God tag matches. Monday’s title bout proves that fans will get invested in good tag team wrestling, so let’s see what happens.
