Look, it€™s understandable that Stephanie McMahon is a vain villainess, so she€™s prone to make obnoxious comments for the sake of getting fans to boo her. But sometimes, you just have to scratch your head and wonder if there€™s any thought put into what she€™s going to say before it€™s written on the final script.

After Triple H spent an eternity talking up why he was obsessed with being the champ and that he was going to walk out of WrestleMania as the champ, Stephanie grabbed the mic to preen about how Sunday is not about any other match, it€™s all about her husband.

She specifically called out the New Day (unicorn horns) the Intercontinental Championship ladder match, the Brock Lesnar/Dean Ambrose street fight and even the bout between Undertaker and Shane McMahon for control of Raw €“ which would determine whether Stephanie and Triple H will continue to be in power next Monday. It was the kind of comment that might get glossed over, but when you€™re the boss and you actively put down your talent €“ even in character €“ it sends a crappy message.

By comparison, witness how Triple H said almost the same thing. But instead of putting everyone else down, he talked up the importance of being world champ, how it€™s every wrestler and fan€™s dream to be champ at WrestleMania. That€™s a much better way to get the point across.
