6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 28th)

Give credit to WWE for one thing: The company has clearly recognized that Roman Reigns is not going to be cheered during long, drawn-out promos espousing why he will be the next world champion. So rather than giving him the microphone and 10 minutes to fill, WWE has let him focus on beat-downs and raw aggression.

But here€™s the problem: The Brooklyn crowd still booed Roman Monday night, after Triple H and Stephanie McMahon spent a great deal of time insulting the crowd and talking about how great they were. They booed when Reigns punched and cheered when Hunter swung fists. They started a €œRoman sucks!€ chant. All of this came on the go-home Raw before Reigns is supposed to walk into WrestleMania as the underdog hero.

It€™s clear WWE realizes there€™s a problem, but trying to use smoke and mirrors to hide the problem clearly isn€™t going to work. Fans aren€™t even falling for, €œHey, Roman€™s beating up the guy who just called us idiots!€ That€™s not good.
