Going into Monday’s Raw, it was generally accepted that the show might be short on wrestling due to all the returning superstars and angles to put over. And knowing that was a distinct possibility, that was fine.

So it was more than a shock when Raw’s first match was an eight-woman tag match that spanned two commercial breaks. Worse, it wasn’t even a good match. It just dragged on, as if it only existed to fill time, which seems kinda silly when you consider how many superstars from the past appeared.

All the women are capable of better work, and Sunday’s Royal Rumble match should have the intensity level upped, but it certainly looked like they were going through the motions Monday.
