6 WWE Hell In A Cell Opening Matches - From Worst To Best

6. Randy Orton Vs. Alberto Del Rio (2012)

I might seem quite sour on Randy Orton in this article, and in all honesty that might be a little unfair. However, on this occasion all of the old criticisms of 'The Viper' run true. He opened the show back in 2012 against Alberto Del Rio, and the match was as average as average gets. The problem is fairly clear to anyone watching. Alberto Del Rio was going through a stage in his WWE career when he was still fairly motivated and was putting on good matches against anyone that came around. Orton is completely disinterested in the entire thing however, and anything and everything Del Rio tries is met with what might as well have been a shrug. A pretty terrible botch towards the end of the match doesn't help things either. Orton picks up the win with an RKO OUTTA NOWHERE.
