Seth Rollins is out for six to nine months with various torn parts of his legs, meaning World Wrestling Entertainment is left without a champion atop the proverbial hill. Never fear though, as necessity breeds action, and a tournament has been announced for the forthcoming Survivor Series special event. The details are still fairly scarce. We don't know who will be involved, we don't even know how many superstars will vie for the strap. One thing seems to be for sure however, and that is that Roman Reigns will stand tall at the end of it all. WWE has clearly been desperate for him to become their new face, and the tournament presents an opportunity to pull the trigger on his rise. Looking at the WWE landscape, there can't be major arguments with this. The nature of WWE's standstill booking means that not many other superstars are screaming CHAMPION. Still, this is nothing a little storytelling can't solve, and the beauty of the tournament is that it provides a natural ark for stories.
