Eight weeks. Come hell or high water, WrestleMania XXXIII will take place in just under eight weeks, injuries and potentially sidelined “dream” matches be damned.

As the Road to WrestleMania gets underway, WWE’s plans for its version of the Super Bowl comes more into focus. But even at this early stage, it looks like the company might have to be flexible with its early plans. One of the biggest Mania storylines that has begun to unfold is the long-rumored Triple H/Seth Rollins feud, but the match might end up on the scrapheap before it even is officially announced.

During Samoa Joe’s beatdown of Rollins, the Architect seemingly reinjured his surgically repaired knee, raising serious questions about the match’s future. If that’s the case, it could drastically change the card.

In addition to new developments in that realm, Goldberg is expected to answer – and likely accept – Brock Lesnar’s challenge for a Mania match to settle the score. Goldberg is 2-0 against the Beast and eliminated him from the Royal Rumble, but this match still seems pretty set in stone.

There are plenty of other major angles that will begin to take shape, either for the big event or the interim PPV, Fastlane. Let’s take a look at some of the big questions that need answering on Raw Monday night…

7. Will Zayn’s Big Win Be Followed Up?

In recent weeks and months, Sami Zayn has been a hapless individual, serving as Braun Strowman’s punching bag, acting like a goof around main eventers, being yelled at by Stephanie McMahon, and lasting 45+ minutes in the Royal Rumble without eliminating anyone.

But Zayn did last a long while in the Rumble, and then on Raw last week, he defeated Chris Jericho in a non-title match. In WWE world, that would put Sami in line for a United States Championship title shot. But Zayn’s treatment as a geek lately makes you wonder if the win means anything or was more about Jericho than Sami.

The answer lies in how Zayn is treated this week. Will he get a U.S. title shot or at least be in the conversation?
