7 Dream Matches That Could Realistically Happen At WWE WrestleMania 33
7. The Rock Vs. Roman Reigns
When The Rock passed the proverbial torch to John Cena at WrestleMania 29, fans were under the impression that this wouldn't be his final match in WWE. It was never billed as such, and while his anticipated program with Cena was the sole reason why he returned in the first place, he proved he still had plenty more left in the tank. It was merely a matter of finding him a proper opponent.
He wasn't in action at the subsequent installments of The Show of Shows, but he did make surprise appearances. At WrestleMania 32, he wrestled an unadvertised, impromptu match against Erick Rowan and beat him in a record-setting six seconds. Still, it was widely believed he would wrestle again when the time was right and his hectic schedule allowed it.
Rock has recently gone on record in saying he'll be busy with various film projects through next summer, possibly writing out a potential WrestleMania match. But if he was to step back in the squared circle one last time in the Sunshine State, it should be against Roman Reigns.
They have interacted enough on programming over the years to the point that it would make perfect sense, and Rock has said in the past that he would enjoy a one-on-one encounter with his cousin. Besides, there are few other top-tier talents The Brahma Bull would return to wrestle that aren't named Triple H or Brock Lesnar, so Reigns would be a fitting adversary given their illustrious history together.
