7. 'You Can't See Me' Album Raced Up Billboard Charts
To date, John Cena has only released one album. That 2005 CD, 'You Can't See Me' was nonetheless a huge success for the man. Recorded alongside his cousin, known as 'Tha Trademarc', the disc sold 143,000 copies during the first week of public sale. For a rap CD recorded by a professional wrestler, that's a big number. Better yet, on the Billboard charts, 'You Can't See Me' managed to reach as high as #15. The CD includes the theme song Cena still marches to the ring with today, 'The Time Is Now'. Today, it's unlikely that WWE's child-friendly structure would be delighted by some of the other tracks, which feature ample strong language. Since the album's release, WWE have moved John Cena away from his bad-boy rap persona. Nowadays, he sits comfortably as a strong role model for young children, rather than a rhyme-spitting thug. 'The Time Is Now' has become such a huge part of Cena's overall act, so it's fascinating to think the song wasn't necessarily written solely for use in wrestling.
