It makes no sense and it doesn't mean anything...

WWE really does not understand the idea of 'once in a lifetime'. One year after the WWE Universe was told they were viewing a one time thing, Survivor Series is once again going to be a RAW vs. SmackDown Live pay-per-view. The stars of the flagship show and its bratty younger brother will do battle in Houston on 19 November, with brand supremacy on the line.

Except none of it matters really, does it? Shane McMahon and various members of the SmackDown Live roster 'invaded' RAW this past week, laying waste to anyone and everyone in what was a genuinely entertaining final segment of the show. The New Day led the invasion as various members of the blue teams's lower card beat up Goldust, Curt Hawkins, Apollo Crews, and the rest. It was fun, but it was ultimately pointless.

Despite clearly having no idea how a 'siege' works, WWE is missing many steps with this program. The RAW vs. SmackDown idea is creative laziness in action, a sure sign that the writing team is out of ideas as 2017 splutters to a close. There are major issues with this Thanksgiving throwdown.
