4. NXT Women's Championship - Asuka Vs. Ember Moon
When will Asuka's dominant championship reign end? The 'Empress of Tomorrow' pinned both Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, establishing herself further as an unbeatable force. Asuka has beaten everyone there is to beat in NXT, and it would be no surprise if the champion eventually moved up to the main roster without suffering an NXT defeat.
That feels like it would be something of a waste however. Ember Moon has long been considered the most likely individual to hand Asuka her first defeat, but Moon was unsuccessful in her attempts at TakeOver: Orlando. Will she get another chance at Asuka over SummerSlam weekend?
Recent reports suggest that Ember Moon is going to be out for six months with a shoulder injury, but it might be wise to hold off before putting money on that being true. WWE superstars tend to return to action sooner than assumed (more on that shortly), and it will surprise nobody if Ember is back ahead of time.
If Ember isn't able to make Brooklyn, then Asuka may well find herself facing off against a newly signed talent from her home country...
