7 Most Successful WWE Superstars To Ever Step Foot In Hell In A Cell

4. Randy Orton

He may not be the first name that you€™d associate with Hell in a Cell, but nonetheless Randy Orton has quietly managed to rack up 6 appearances inside the Cell over the course of the last decade. And though he cannot boast a 100% record like his former Evolution teammate Batista, Orton has gone one better by amassing three victories to Batista€™s two. His first was against John Cena, which earned him his fifth WWE Championship in the process. Then a year later in 2010, he retained the same title against a rookie Sheamus, before beating Daniel Bryan€”with the help of Shawn Michaels€”at the 2013 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. With that match being contested for the vacant WWE Title, Randy prolonged his record of having won every time he€™s stepped in Hell in a Cell with the WWE Championship on the line. He can€™t say the same about the old World Title though, as in 2011 he was unsuccessful in his bid to dethrone the World€™s Strongest Man Mark Henry. Losses against John Cena last year and against The Undertaker in 2005€”in a match that was marred by his father being busted open despite having Hepatitis C€”brings a curtain down on Orton€™s Hell in a Cell résumé. Three out of six is by no means perfect, but it gives him enough in the win column to clock in at number four on this list.
