The unintended benefit of a unionized pro-wrestling industry is that it would create unionized versus non-unionized professional wrestling, which. These are companies who have pay-per-view branded events, as well as in some cases solid relationships set with globally-renowned pro wrestling companies, and sponsorship deals with well-regarded brands, too. Companies that employed union-member performers would theoretically be able to cover the expenses created by the demands the unions would impress upon wrestling promotions. Non-unionized pro wrestling shows and non-unionized wrestlers would exist, but the dangers being taken in either participating in or running those shows would be significantly greater than ever before given the benefits that would be afforded wrestlers within said union.
