CM Punk stating that he deserved to be paid a rate similar to other competitors at Wrestlemania 29 is a valid issue. It's not the first time that a WWE-contracted performer has ever questioned the seemingly bizarre and haphazard nature of payments to talent, and with a union, the question would never be at issue without a definable solution ever again. If Talent (x) is paid Sum (y) with clearly defined bonus opportunities (z) paid at (a) percentage over certain goals being reached, Punk's clearly defined point would not be one of such obvious contention. Leaving too much gray area and room for interpretation regarding something as important as pay is something that must be immediately rectified.
