Realistically, the only thing keeping the Undertaker coming back year after year was to continue his undefeated WrestleMania streak. Many saw 2014's earth-shattering loss to Brock Lesnar as the ideal ending point for the Phenom, allowing him to bow out having put over a similarly titanic star on the grandest stage of all. His decision to come back and defeat Bray Wyatt in April was a curious one, but also made some sense. It gave 'Taker the chance to go out on a high, having partially avenged last year's loss. From now on, however, each addition to Undertaker's WrestleMania record will naturally generate less excitement; the streak is broken, therefore the stakes are naturally lower.
