7. The Protection Of NXT's Legacy

I'll start with pure fantasy, and a move that World Wrestling Entertainment would never ever make in a million years. WWE is a business after all, and business involves making money and not much else. As such, WWE is going to squeeze every last dollar out of all of the cash cows in its barn, NXT included.

But could Triple H have some form of influence here, and will the 10th TakeOver event be the last for NXT in order to preserve its legacy? Has NXT done what it came here to do, and will it be allowed one last dance before heading off into the sun?

Quite plainly not, and we'll get No Way Jose vs. Tye Dillinger whether we like it or don't. Still, if WWE has a rare moment of foresight they would end NXT and begin something fresh, so that NXT can be remembered fondly as opposed to us merely talking about the 'glory years' of the brand.
