When it was announced earlier this year that Samoa Joe would be working with WWE, a lot of wrestling fans didn't know what to make of the news. Would the former TNA star be able to thrive on the main roster, or would he have a different part to play in the company? It's become clear over time that WWE were interested in having Joe work at the Performance Center, but also down in NXT. That could be the perfect place for James Storm to start realising his WWE-related dreams. As aforementioned, he'd be brilliant when working alongside the youth in the company. As good as Storm would be giving advice to complete rookies, he'd also be able to aid those who are looking to take that next step. Even though he's not a household name, big wins over the likes of Storm would be beneficial for those looking to hit the main roster. Baron Corbin has a similar vibe to that of Storm many years ago. For Corbin, it's all about putting things in place for an assault on Raw and Smackdown. A rivalry with James Storm could give him even more experience, especially against somebody who hasn't really been in the WWE system, and therefore brings another style to the party. He's already worked opposite Samoa Joe, so James Storm could be the perfect next candidate to help Corbin progress.
