7 Things That Must Happen At WWE Night Of Champions

7. Dolph Ziggler Must Turn Heel

Okay, I'm going to get this one out of the way first as the entire storyline makes me feel a little sick. When Rusev and Lana's break up began after WrestleMania, there was a good degree of optimism in the air. Lana had been gaining some real steam as a character and Rusev was secretly becoming an elite-level WWE character.

Then what happened?

Well, Dolph Ziggler got involved, Lana became just another poorly portrayed WWE female character and the whole thing went south, quickly. Ziggler, the face, has been an awful sleazeball through the whole thing, and this past Monday interrupted Rusev's match with Cesaro to give Rusev's new squeeze, Summer Rae, a gift.

Well, I say give. He basically forced the box on her.

Simply put, Dolph Ziggler needs to turn heel this Sunday. He will eventually settle into a role as a top level babyface, but right now his character is so horrifically sleazy, childish and misogynistic that he needs to turn heel, and fast.

Where does this leave Rusev?

Well, he's been a secret babyface for a long, long time now. He's won most of his matches cleanly, has done so defending the honour of his country (and adopted nation for a while) and protected his female second the entire time. He even gave Summer Rae a fish. Double turns don't happen very often in WWE, but one needs to happen on Sunday.

Many have posited the story, but it is clear. Ziggler and Summer Rae are in cahoots, they defeat Rusev via dirty means, Lana comes back to resume her professional relationship with Rusev and everyone can leave this steaming turd for good.
