For the past sixteen years, Triple H's weapon of choice has been a sledgehammer. While other superstars have been content to use steel chairs to hurt opponents or cheat their way to victory, The Game clearly prefers to take a more dangerous, potentially life-threatening, approach. Initially, the company had Triple H use a rubber sledgehammer, leading to unrealistic situations where HHH would deliver blows his opponents couldn't possibly survive in a legitimate sense. After he accidentally concussing The Undertaker with the fake sledgehammer, though, WWE higher-ups decided that it would be easier if Triple H just dished out worked shots with a real hammer. Since then, he's cupped his hand around the head of the hammer before driving it into an opponent's face or gut.Worked blow or not, hitting someone in the skull with a sledgehammer is a pretty good way to send them to the morgue.
