7 Triple H Matches We Need To See In 2016

6. Kevin Owens

Similar to Zayn, Triple H has been largely responsible for bringing in Kevin Owens, moulding him and then lobbying for him and his push backstage. The two men teamed together on the WrestleMania Revenge European tour but I would be very interested to see them square off in a one-on-one match somewhere down the road.

Of course, that is all dependent on Owens turning babyface, which probably won't happen for a while yet (he's been so, so good as a heel and still has much to achieve as a villain). One potential scenario could see The Cerebral Assassin enlist the services of The Prize Fighter much in the same way The Authority used Seth Rollins as their main man in 2014/15.

Owens aligning himself with Triple H - which would include them joining forces in some tag team matches - for the sake of the money and as a means of providing for his family (keeping it consistent with his character motivation), before turning on his master after things inevitably go south would make for some captivating television.

As for the match itself, it would no doubt be a good, hard-hitting brawl similar to those Mick Foley/HHH matches of sixteen some odd years ago. Book it, Vince.
