1. Killian Dain's Failed Attempt At Revenge

Earlier in the night, after viciously being attacked by Pete Dunne some weeks back, Killian Dain returned and targeted "The Bruiserweight" backstage. In a shocking turn of events, he would get his chance for revenge in a bout with his tormentor on this very night.

Going right after Dunne, Dain rag-dolled the Birmingham native, catching his rival with a number of ruthless kicks too. Dunne was eventually able to drag himself back into the contest, using the ring post to his advantage when Dain attempted to head-butt the physically impressive star.

However, as it looked like Dain had ultimately managed to find a way to best the star responsible for putting him on the shelf, Dunne's Kings of NXT teammates, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch rushed to ringside. They were met by a fired up Drake Maverick who then stupidly turned his back on the pair and forced Dain to aid his pal mid-match.

Dunne was then able to secure the win due to the distraction, hitting Dain with a Bitter End for the 1-2-3.

The bout itself was the sort of super physical encounter you'd expect from these two brutes. Yet, the dodgy finish cheapened Dunne's victory in a match which probably should've been saved for a bigger stage. This also doesn't exactly set up Dain and Maverick as credible challengers to Lorcan and Burch's titles? So, what exactly did this achieve?
