Krossing swords...

Really feel like the yarn I spun about space aliens last week has left me with limited options for future introductions but, here we are. Essential Service NXT was back again this week and, like the trusty barnacle telling a whale it's swimming the wrong way, so too is this column.

It's becoming steadily apparent now that, with one TakeOver highly disrupted but a future one being carefully built to, that the threshold of the current climate being "normal" has now long since passed. These are no longer extenuation circumstances any more than they're just... well, circumstances. It be that way sometime, as they say, and indeed it be that way permanently.

So with very little build this week (UE calling Lumis a dork and daring Strong to pants him being the sum total of what we'd been promised ahead of time) NXT had a fairly blank canvas on which to paint. Let's see what pretty pictures it threw up.

Oh, and quick point of note, there's no entry in here for Lorcan and Burch vs EverRise because it was just... so... functional? They're in a position that the win doesn't do anything for them, and EverRise are currently so lowly they're not even hurt by the loss. It did the same job as a match graphic with the caption "these men still exist" so, yeah, no score. Onward!
