5. A Fun Use Of Tony Schiavone

In his absence from the building, Christian Cage asked Tony Schiavone to read a prepared statement on his behalf. The general crux of it was that he is going to respond to Adam Copeland's challenge for a No DQ TNT title rematch on Collision.

Schiavone's performance was brilliant, though, and the idea to juxtapose Cage's vile words with Tony's warm, honeyed delivery was inspired comedy - much funnier than the broader fare that has polluted the company elsewhere over the last few months.

Cage wrote in his promo that if Schiavone phones it in "like usual" - quality - he'd "slap the yellow off his teeth" the next time he saw him. At the end of the promo, in another great touch, Cage's music played.

The whole "Christian has a great mind for the business" thing is hardly insightful at this point, but delivering a high point of a show he wasn't even present for is something else.
