Last night marked the go-home episode of IMPACT Wrestling before Bound For Glory on Saturday evening. Every match, bar the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match, had some sort of hype created coming away from last night's show, which is impressive given the genuinely stacked card for the pay-per-view.

John Skyler, Crazzy Steve, Fallah Bahh, Tenille Dashwood, Chelsea Green, and Jordynne Grace made for mismatched teams in a three-way bout. Rhino failed to show his true colours, leaving both Heath and Violent By Design in the dark regarding his motives. FinJuice and Bullet Club's Chris Bey and Hikuleo were both crowned number one contenders for the Good Brothers' World Tag Team Titles. Decay signed the contract for their Knockouts Tag Team Titles match vs. the IInspiration. Trey Miguel and Steve Maclin were both left laying at the hands of an El Phantasmo-led Bullet Club beatdown. Matthew Rehwoldt clotheslined Mickie James on Deonna Purrazzo's behalf.

As for Christian Cage and Josh Alexander's World Title match? A Josh mini-documentary and show-closing promo battle with the reigning champion planted the final hype seeds for what will be a once-in-a-generation encounter.
