No Surrender is looming.

Last night's go-home Impact Wrestling brought with it a multitude of things to look forward to come Saturday night. The card for the next Impact Plus special now looks complete, with every title bar the Knockouts Championship set to be defended, the debut of a match type, and a handful of rivalries coming to their boiling points.

As far as last night goes, though, the main talking point has to be that enticing promo from Tommy Dreamer. Before he challenges Rich Swann, 'The Innovator of Violence' took to the mic to deliver one of the most heartfelt promos heard in quite some time, especially for Impact viewers. The match likely won't be anything too special, so if they're able to build more anticipation outside of the ring, it's excellent.

Elsewhere, Trey Miguel won an entertaining eight-man tag team match for his team, Beer Guns failed to dethrone The Good Brothers of their World Tag Team Championships due to the interference of Private Party, Cousin Jake rechristened himself to Jake Something, and Black Taurus returned as the newest member of Decay.

For the last time before No Surrender, let's get to it...
