It's that time once again. The weekend of an Impact Wrestling pay-per-view.

The go-home episode before these events, as for all major wrestling promotions, is always a crucial episode to ensure the hype for the pay-per-view is at its highest. This episode of Impact did just that, with some incredible in-ring work, and even better promos from some of the featured performers at Bound For Glory.

Without a doubt, the finest moment of the night was Sami Callihan's promo directed towards current World Champion, Brian Cage. Every single word that came out of Callihan's mouth here meant something. For once, 'The Callihan Death Machine' was being real, hence why he cut out his typical special effects. If every promo was as good as this one, then this column would become incredibly one-sided.

Elsewhere, the fifth competitor for the X Division Championship ladder match was left undetermined, Michael Elgin sent a message to his BFG opponent and Pro Wrestling NOAH sensation Naomichi Marufuji, Jake Crist had a wonderful encounter with the unsigned Chris Bey, and more. Overall, a highly enjoyable episode of Impact to lead us into their biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Let's get to it...
