Eddie Kingston, man...
Whenever that fella has a camera on him, it's forever a scintillating watch. This time, Eddie helped further sell his upcoming match against long-time rival Claudio Castagnoli at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam on Wednesday.
This was gold, this was great, and as ever with Eddie, this was real.
Kingston noted how Claudio left potholes for others to clean up, and how the Mad King has done his best to adhere to Renee Paquette's pleas to "fix it". Eddie then talked about his "sickness", but that he has "hope" and New York is his.
This wasn't just all about Eddie Kingston though, for Kingston also made sure to put Castagnoli 'over' too, stating how phenomenal a wrestler the Swiss is... before obviously promising to introduce Claudio to misery.
Of course, Claudio would also get to say a few words later in the show, which were absolutely fine for what was needed. It's obviously with Eddie Kingston where the real fire of this rivalry shines through, though, when it comes to mic work.
