6. A Man & His Former Dinosaur

With Christian Cage as the catalyst of a breakdown in relations between Jungle Boy and Luchasuarus, this was always going to be the match to set up the match, rather than the grand payoff. It was perhaps with these lowered expectations that the contest hugely, hugely over-delivered.

Centred around Jack Perry's knowledge of his former friend's weaknesses and if he could use that to cut a dinosaur down to size, a promising David & Goliath story entered the orbit of minor television miracle when Goliath nailed David with a sunset flip powerbomb from the ring through a table on the floor.

Existing for more than just the pop, the spot teased a still-injured Cage out of commentary and down to ringside, but Perry's rage was ultimately his undoing. The Canadian provided just enough distraction for Luchasaurus to score the win and further delay any gratification for the wronged party. A buzzing crowd were well serviced for now, and both men can count this as one of their best - if not the best - singles matches ever.
