7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (Results & Review - 16 Oct)
Title changes, Jimmy Uso's treachery, and must-see matches on WWE Raw's season premiere.
WWE turned a lot of heads by having Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso win the Undisputed Tag Titles back at Fastlane, but their reign proved to be short-lived. Monday's season premiere episode of Raw returned those belts to the Judgment Day side, but Finn Bálor and Damian Priest didn't triumph fairly.
Jimmy Uso was sent his marching orders by Bloodline boss Roman Reigns on SmackDown, and he popped up to cost his brother some gold. That was just one of the hefty plot points booked on a night which started motoring towards Crown Jewel by adding another match and fleshing out the PLE's main event.
Raw has become so much more watchable under Triple H, eh? Not everything is perfect though. There are still huge struggles on the women's division side, and that strife includes Rhea Ripley's belt, the NXT version held by Becky Lynch and the always frustrating Women's Tag straps too.
Refreshingly, at least all of the negatives from this week's show are on the minor side. Besides, the positives far outweighed any downers, and the E presented several hard-hitting matches you really should go out of your way to see.
