Eddie Kingston is forever a treasure to the wrestling business.

The Mad King has the rare ability to make everything he's involved in feel like a bigger deal and feel like the most important thing in the world. Here, a Kingston promo showcased the significance and importance of the two championship belts he currently holds - and thus that makes the Continental Classic feel all the more important due to Eddie being willing to risk those titles by putting them on the line in this tournament.

Mentors such as Low-Ki, Homicide, and Xavier have held the ROH World Championship, adding all the more value and emotion to proceedings when Eddie himself dethroned long-time rival Claudio Castagnoli for that prize. Likewise, Kingston grew up just wanting to wrestle in Japan; so to not only wrestle in Japan, but win a championship there - the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship - is extra special for the New Yorker.

By clearly defining why these titles are important to him, then being willing to risk losing them in a tournament, in one short promo Eddie Kingston added a whole bunch of prestige to the burgeoning Continental Classic.
