4. The Numbers Don't Work Again
If Sami Zayn was the managerial genius he should be, then he'd pay off some muscle mountain to match biceps with Braun Strowman. That's the sort of thing Bobby Heenan would've done, anyway, and it is ever-so-slightly confusing that Sami, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro can't seem to handle business.
They were made to look second-rate next to Braun yet again.
The story should be that Strowman dominates one-on-one and the heels have the advantage when they hunt as a pack. WWE disagree. They believe that Braun should smash everything in his path, and the reigning Intercontinental Champion, his 'Swiss Superman' partner and 'Great Liberator' mouthpiece should flee in terror.
Maybe WWE think having two factions on the same show who target one guy, like 'King' Corbin and crew are doing with Roman Reigns, would be overkill. Even if they do, they must realise they're doing Shin and company zero favours.
