7. Jack Perry Continues To Shine
It may have taken a couple of weeks for him to find his feet, but Jack Perry as a heel continues to shine on a weekly basis.
Here, the former Jungle Boy opened Collision by hosting a funeral service for the FTW Title. As the greatest FTW Champion of all time, Perry viewed himself as the only person worthy of calling time on this famed trinket of ECW.
Jack himself has previously talked about how he isn't particularly enthusiastic about having to cut promos, but this new heel persona is something that's fitting him like a second skin right now. To make all of this even better, Perry brilliantly cut to a pre-prepared video that was a collage of him and the FTW Championship having a blast together by the pool, in the pool, on a bike ride, in bed... all while a faux sad Jack watched this footage from inside the ring.
Of course, just as Jack Perry was about to bring a sledgehammer down on the FTW Title, the arena lights went out, a HOOK video played, and the Cold Hearted Handsome Devil himself turned up behind Perry to drop him with a few suplexes, including one through a table.
Perry vs. HOOK was confirmed for All In simply by the son of Taz grabbing a mic and stating "Wembley. Sunday", and that match is now set for the All In Zero-Hour pre-show.
The HOOK video here was a little corny, but the overall segment was good, with HOOK showing some nice physicality and Perry being great in his heel role.
