OK, this writer has dumped on Liv Morgan's booking long enough. Her SmackDown Women's Title reign was awful, granted, but that nightmare is over and everyone has to pick up the pieces. Friday's vicious attack on Sonya Deville was a step in the right direction.

Seeing Liv echo her creepy laugh from Extreme Rules was cool, and that bump through the table on Sonya looked great. Meanwhile, both Michael Cole and Wade Barrett did a predictably-stellar job of laying out for 75% of the skit but still asking the key questions about why Morgan has been so erratic lately.

Good commentary.

A standard heel turn could be the best plan for Liv. Or, this might be her taking another leap towards the dark side via Bray Wyatt-led carnage. Wyatt has changed wrestlers before by being around the place, and he could do so again with Morgan.
