7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE WrestleMania VII
5. Broken Harts
Bret Hart finally bid farewell to the tag division after a host of false starts at WrestleMania VII as The Hart Foundation themselves waved goodbye to the Tag Team Titles for the last time.
The Nasty Boys were sensational sh*thouses here. Knobs and Sags fit the profile - Jimmy Hart's cheating little toe-rags didn't belong in the same postcode as the 'Excellence Of Execution' and his hard-hitting partner, let alone the WrestleMania ring. It was - unfortunately for the Champions - this sort of skill-set that often got you to the promised land when the product made sense.
Destined for a summer as transitional Champions before a loss to the Legion Of Doom, The Nasties cheated their way to victory in a manner not at all befitting of the 'Grandest Stage'. It was gross. It was great.
