7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE WrestleMania VII
Ups...
7. Rocker Droppers
Entering in their last and best WrestleMania display, The Rockers were on f*cking excellent form in a spirited opener again Haku and The Barbarian. In a telling sign of things to come for the two, they were finally permitted to win, too.
By the end of 1991, Shawn Michaels was long ready to step into singles competition after one too many dangled carrots for the pair, but this at least gave them a solitary WrestleMania victory after a hard shift the prior year and a stellar job done for the mammoth Twin Towers in their 'Show Of Shows' debut.
The thrilling opener is made even better by industry standard idiot Hacksaw Jim Duggan on commentary. He couldn't keep up with the sluggish pace of his own contests, let alone the futuristic clusters assembled by Michaels and Jannetty.
